Boss Baby: A Synopsis of the Plot
The film begins with a narration by an adult Tim Templeton (Tobey Maguire), who tells the story of his seven-year-old self (Miles Bakshi) and his baby brother. Tim is a happy and imaginative boy who enjoys the attention of his parents (Jimmy Kimmel and Lisa Kudrow). However, his life changes when his parents bring home a new baby boy, who wears a suit and carries a briefcase. Tim is suspicious of the baby, who he calls Boss Baby (Alec Baldwin), and tries to expose his true nature to his parents.
One night, Tim discovers that Boss Baby can talk and that he works for a company called Baby Corp., which sends babies to families around the world. Boss Baby reveals that he is on a mission to stop the CEO of Puppy Co., Francis E. Francis (Steve Buscemi), from launching a new product that will make puppies more loved than babies. Boss Baby asks Tim to help him with his mission, in exchange for returning to Baby Corp. and leaving Tim's family. Tim reluctantly agrees, hoping to get rid of Boss Baby.
Tim and Boss Baby bond as they work together to infiltrate Puppy Co. and find out Francis' plan. They discover that Francis is a former employee of Baby Corp., who was fired for being lactose intolerant and unable to drink the secret formula that keeps babies young and intelligent. Francis intends to use a rocket to launch a new breed of puppies that will never grow old and will replace babies as the most adorable creatures in the world.
Tim and Boss Baby manage to stop Francis and his henchman Eugene (Conrad Vernon) from launching the rocket, with the help of other talking babies from Tim's neighborhood. They also rescue their parents, who were kidnapped by Francis as part of his revenge against Boss Baby. Boss Baby decides to stay with Tim's family, as he has grown fond of them. He also gives Tim a special pacifier that allows him to communicate with him.
The film ends with Tim and Boss Baby growing up as loving brothers. Tim tells his daughter about his brother, who is now the CEO of Baby Corp. He also reveals that Boss Baby sent him a new baby girl, who is his niece and another secret agent. aa16f39245
